Born in Alabama and raised in Tennessee, I developed my love for all things ceramic while living in Northern California, behind the redwood curtain, for nearly a decade in the early 2000’s. After my partner, Chris, and I became parents we moved back home to Tennessee to start a small organic vegetable farm one hour outside of Nashville. Chris Knew how much I longed to learn the craft and, with his gift of clairvoyance, found the local studio where my ceramics journey began. True story.
I now make not perfect pottery out of my home “shed” studio on our farm in the beautiful countryside of Bethpage, Tn. It’s truly a dream come true and I am so grateful for my incredible family and friends that have supported this dream for me.
It’s extremely hard to describe myself since I really don’t like labels. I am a mother, wife, vegetable farmer, naturalist, non-conformist, animal lover, yoga practitioner and potter to name a few. My cup spills over with blessings.
I truly appreciate you being here and your interest in my works. Each one is made by my hands and is one of a kind. My pots are not perfect, but that’s not my intention. My motivation is to create things are useful, lovely, initiate joy, and tell a part of my story.
